Patrick Mavros puts on a glittering exhibition of African silver at the annual Safari Club Convention in January each year, and the 2007 event was a great success. Many old friends visited the stand. Some of our favourites were the ‘fastest gun in the west’ young Luke Merrel; a posse of pardners Marty and Elliot; and the famous Las Vegas magician, Sean Watson, who we caught levitating one of Patrick’s exhibition tables. (We counted the silver after he left, but all was present and correct!)
