Entwined crocodile couple in the 'netsuke' style
This new piece (2007) reflects the influence of the great Japanese netsuke carvers on Patrick’s work. He has always been fascinated by the intricate, compact style of these 17th and 18th century artisans.
The entwined crocodiles reminded Patrick of a couple’s quest to bind together despite all the obstacles that life throws at them, including teeth!
