Patrick has wanted to make a covey of Grey Partridges for a long time and after spending much time in the field with them has finished a covey as he most enjoys seeing them, huddled together in a close unit.
The covey of five has been produced in minute detail and depicts cock and hen birds in typical grouping as they shake the cold from a long night and greet the early morning warmth.
