This silver paperweight captures the sight of a family of elephants at Mana Pools, crossing the river to forage in the Zambezi National Park on the Zambian side.
The Zambezi River is a barrier to most wild animals, but not the elephant.
In the dry season the river is shallow enough for the great beasts to wade across, but often the little ones need help and will hold on to their mother's tail on the way over. There is also the need to stay close, as the crocodiles are ever watchful.
