Sabi Star Stud Earrings

The Sabi Star, also known as the Desert Rose or the Impala Lily, is a spectacular canopy of pink blossoms in the African bush. This succulent shrub produces clusters of star-shaped flowers with five petals. The colour range of this pretty bloom includes all shades of pink, white and crimson.

The tree itself looks like a miniature Baobab and occurs in the lowveld areas of Southern Africa. The flowers of the Sabi Star are refreshing and delicate blooms that contrast with the stark African mid-winter landscape.

Patrick says, ‘I can remember when hours and hours of walking in the heat and dust and dry lowveld were interrupted, all of a sudden, by a magnificent fountain of pink and white blossoms. The brilliant bloom of the Sabi Star is the last thing that any explorer would expect to see in that environment. When anything can light up the toughest environment, it becomes the most inspirational design for ladies jewellery’.

The beautiful shape of the Sabi Star’s five petals lends itself perfectly to an earring stud or a necklace.
