Ardmore Ceramics, one of South Africa’s great success stories, was founded in the foothills of the Drakensburg Mountains by Fée Halsted.

Her first student, Bonnie Ntshalintshali, started learning to sculpt on the Ardmore farm in 1985. Today Ardmore is home to 50 outstanding African artists whose work under the Ardmore banner has set a new standard in ceramic expression.

Each piece is totally unique; the collection includes coffee and tea sets, egg cups, tureens, urns, vases, planters, candelabras, bowls and extraordinary sculptures.

These exceptionally talented artists handcraft each unique ceramic artwork, beautifully and whimsically depicting the exotic vibrancy of the African continent’s flora and fauna.
